WE ARE PIERRE
We are done with non-ecological stuff made far away under unknown circumstances.
Founded in Belgium during the first lockdown, our heart lies in our second home Portugal, the world’s biggest cork producer.
Inspired by Dom Pierre Pérignon, the famous French champagne maker who was the first to make the well-known wine & champagne stoppers of cork, we want to achieve the same, in the sports & outdoor area.
We, the Pierre team, want to make your daily movement & sport exercise a real, sustainable experience, without compromising on comfort, performance and without forgetting the fun factor !
SUSTAINABLE CAN BE FUN !!
LET’S MAKE EUROPE WILD AGAIN
The Portuguese cork oak forest is the habitat of the Iberian lynx, Europe’s most endangered wild cat. Using cork from these forests helps preserving their habitat because it avoids cutting down the trees.
We have pledged to support CBD-HABITAT, an organization that takes actions to preserve the lynx’s ecosystem. For every sold mat, we give 1% to this NGO, to support Europe’s remaining wild. For more info, check out there website! Lince Ibérico – CBD-Habitat (cbd-habitat.com)
So let the lynx roar again!! (Ok they actually don’t roar, but you get us right?)
