- Do not store the mat in direct sunlight - this will bleach the mat

- Cork yoga mats have natural antimicrobial and antibacterial properties. This means that any bacteria that land on a cork mat cannot survive there. That's why it's easy to keep them clean and in long-lasting shape! Because cork yoga mats are self-cleaning, the typical mat cleaning process is not necessary and quite simple.

- If your cork yoga mat has stains or has been heavily used during sweaty yoga sessions, you can make your own cork mat cleaning spray to clean it thoroughly.

- This is best done with a cloth with 1/4 vinegar and 3/4 water, and possibly a few drops of essential oils. No chemical sprays are needed.

- After cleaning the mat, hang it to dry or wipe it with a towel. Once it's dry, roll it up with the top side (the cork side) facing outwards. It is designed to be rolled up this way, this ensures that your mat unrolls perfectly flat every time you use it.

Enjoy the soft & warm touch, the natural feel & scent of pure Portuguese cork. Relatively light to carry and easy to clean (cold water on a soft cloth is sufficient).

Cork offers something unique: when it comes into contact with moisture, its grip increases. In other words, the more you sweat, the better the grip!
