Pierre Sports and Yoga Festival Antwerp — A Collaboration Built on Shared Values

By June 17, 2026Some Stories

There is a kind of meeting that does not feel like a meeting at all.

It feels more like recognition — two people, or two brands, arriving at the same place from different directions and realising they have been travelling the same road all along.

That is what happened when Pierre Sports began working with ADM — Atelier Du Mon — a boutique yoga and wellness studio in the heart of Antwerp. The values aligned immediately — same patience, same grounded approach, and a shared belief that yoga is a practice worth taking seriously, and worth treating with care.

This July, that connection becomes something you can step into.

The Yoga Festival Antwerp

The Yoga Festival Antwerp is not the kind of festival that overwhelms. In practice, it is something quieter than that — a gathering of teachers, practitioners, and curious people spread across several beautiful locations in the city, anchored by ADM and their partner studio AYU as the main hub.

Saturday 4th July is a full day. Movement classes from early morning to late evening, workshops, talks, and a programme built for people who want to go deeper. Sunday 5th July brings a charity Vinyasa masterclass and afternoon workshops. And for those who want to arrive early, there is a pre-event on the evening of 3rd July — a Creative Vinyasa Masterclass to open the weekend.

The kind of festival you leave feeling more like yourself.

What Pierre Sports Is Bringing

Pierre Sports will be leading a signature yin yoga class as part of the festival programme.

Yin yoga asks you to stay. Poses are held for three to five minutes, sometimes longer — long enough for the connective tissue, the fascia, the deep joints to begin to soften and release. Unlike more active styles, it is not about building heat or momentum. It is a different kind of effort: the effort of stillness.

Research published in Frontiers in Psychiatry found that yin yoga produced measurable reductions in anxiety among participants. As a result, the body and mind arrive at stillness together. That is the whole point.

For the class, we will lay out wool yoga mat covers for every participant — handmade in Sofia, Bulgaria, soft against bare skin, naturally temperature-regulating. Recycled bolsters will be ready for the supported postures. Cork blocks from Portugal for those who need them. Yoga belts to deepen the holds.

Everything made in Europe. Everything made with intention.

The props at the Pierre Sports class

  • Wool yoga mat covers — handmade in Sofia, Bulgaria. Soft, warm, and natural against the skin.
  • Recycled bolsters — filled with recycled materials, shaped for long, surrendered holds.
  • Cork yoga blocks — made from Portuguese cork. Naturally grippy, naturally beautiful.
  • Yoga belts — for easing into depth without force.

Before the Festival — Meghan Currie and the Pigeon Mat

In the lead-up to the festival, we have been fortunate to have Meghan Currie — international yoga teacher, movement artist, and one of the most quietly extraordinary practitioners working today — on our new Pigeon yoga mats.

Meghan’s practice is intuitive and fluid. Breath-led, body-rooted, impossible to rush. And yet there is a precision to it — a quality of full attention that felt right for a mat built with the same intention. We will share more from that collaboration very soon.

A Giveaway on International Yoga Day

On 21st June — International Yoga Day — Pierre Sports will be giving away a full weekend pass to the Yoga Festival Antwerp via Instagram.

One pass. The whole programme. All three days.

Follow us on Instagram and look out for the post on Sunday 21st June. The details will be there.

Why ADM

Pierre Sports was founded by Pieter, who travelled to India and Rishikesh to understand yoga at its roots before building anything. That journey shapes everything that followed — what materials are chosen, which studios are partnered with, which teachers are invited into the work.

ADM was founded by Denies and is run by a small team of dedicated teachers who see yoga as a complete practice, not a trend. More than thirty yoga and Pilates classes each week. Beyond that, therapies, private sessions, and an online studio serve a community that is genuinely international. Classes are in English.

When the values are the same, collaboration is easy. This is that kind of partnership.

The Materials Behind the Class

Every prop at the Pierre Sports class has a country, a maker, and a reason for being what it is.

The wool covers and bolsters are handmade in Sofia, Bulgaria. The cork blocks come from Portugal — the source of 65% of the world’s cork supply. For that reason, these are not choices made for aesthetics. They are choices made because natural materials, made well, perform better — and last longer.

If you would like to explore the full range before the festival, the Pierre Sports shop is a quiet place to begin. And if you want to understand where everything comes from, the Our Story page will tell you.
